ConGRADulations, Cameron! (June 9th)

Today my boy became a man! Okay, not really, but definitely reached a milestone. He has officially left elementary school behind. A funny thing happened before the actual ceremony. The parents/families are seated in the auditorium about 6 rows back. The students are in front rows, in alphabetical order. So we can't really see or hear Cameron. The principal is announcing a scholarship of $5,000 to be awarded for a student to go to the local college. She calls the name "Cameron" (Justin and I look at each other with baited breath) "Goodman". Sadly the boy wasn't even there. He did show up later, his mom was so embarrassed, complaining he had told her the wrong time. Hmm, how smart is this kid anyway? Afterwards, we asked Cameron if he thought they were gonna call his name. He said he did, and was ticked when he realized it wasn't him.
Anyhoo, here are some pictures we took when it was over. We told him we'd take him out to dinner, anywhere he wanted to go. He chose Red Lobster. He has always had expensive taste....!
